Recently, Professor Dai Shenghua, head of the Ministry of Education's Virtual Teaching Research Office for Rail Transit Signaling and Control at Beijing Jiaotong University, and Mr. Zhou Xing from the School of Intelligence visited the Chengdu University of Industrial Technology (CDUIT) for an offline exchange and seminar. Leadership and faculty members from the School of Automotive and Transportation at CDUIT participated in the event.

The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding key issues in the development of the Rail Transit Signaling and Control major. The seminar focused on several key areas:

 Construction of laboratories and experimental teaching facilities.

 Optimization of curriculum systems and credit structures.

 Sharing of course resources and teaching reform experiences.

 Academic competitions and the cultivation of students' innovation capabilities.

Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on how Virtual Teaching Research Offices can better serve as cross-institutional teaching and research communities.

During the visit, the team conducted a field tour of the signaling major's laboratories and teaching platforms at CDUIT. This exchange has further promoted inter-school collaboration and resource sharing, providing valuable support for the major's construction and the improvement of talent cultivation quality in regional universities.
