Basic Requirements for Applicants

- Possess solid academic knowledge, good health, and sufficient energy to undertake frontline teaching and research work.
- Have an excellent educational background with a doctoral degree and have obtained diplomas and degree certificates for all stages of education.
Recruitment Positions and Benefits
I. Excellence 100 Talent Program
The first and second tiers target the introduction of academic masters or leading scholars with significant influence, whose academic level is internationally leading or advanced, and who have strategic and innovative visions for discipline development. Conditions and salary are negotiated on a case-by-case basis with highly competitive remuneration and support.
The third and fourth tiers target outstanding young scholars whose academic level is at the forefront among domestic peers in their discipline and who have the ability to help their discipline reach or maintain domestic leadership and impact world-class status.
Basic requirements:
Third tier: generally ≤40 years old
Fourth tier: generally ≤35 years old
(Age limit can be relaxed for humanities/social sciences or those with outstanding achievements)
Benefits and Conditions:
Basic annual salary during appointment period): Third tier ≥600,000 RMB/year, Fourth tier ≥450,000 RMB/year + regular college performance bonuses, research rewards, social service income, etc., with a dynamic salary growth mechanism
High-level talent apartments on campus provided
Housing allowance: 500,000–1,000,000 RMB
Research start-up funding: Natural sciences 300,000–2,000,000 RMB; Humanities/social sciences 100,000–500,000 RMB
Appointed as PhD supervisor
Assistance with household registration (hukou), children’s school/nursery enrollment, etc., within policy limits
II. Young Talent Development Program
Aimed at introducing and cultivating outstanding young scholars who have already achieved notable academic results and show strong potential in paper publication, research projects, or technology transfer.
Basic requirements:
Category I: generally ≤40 years old
Category II: generally ≤35 years old
(Age limit can be relaxed for humanities/social sciences or outstanding achievements)
Benefits and Conditions:
- Additional development allowance on top of regular salary: Category I 120,000 RMB/year, Category II 60,000 RMB/year
- May be appointed to senior associate professor or higher positions depending on qualifications
- Research start-up fund, housing allowance, rental subsidy, etc., provided according to the standards of the “Outstanding Faculty Recruitment Program”
- Assistance with hukou, children’s education, etc.
III. Outstanding Faculty Recruitment Program
Basic requirements: Professor: generally ≤45, Associate Professor: generally ≤38, Lecturer: generally ≤35. Age limits relaxable for humanities/social sciences or outstanding candidates.
Postdoctoral researcher (teaching track): generally ≤33
